Sow….
(Sowing some thoughts and dreams ….)
If you’ve been watching my Pick-a-card Readings on You Tube you might have already heard this story but I’m writing it here too, as it was so exciting, and I love the metaphorical lesson! 😊
So – I was taking Luna out for a walk. We went by car to my nephew’s house to drop off his birthday presents and then went back towards home to go to this stately home around the corner from where I live – a big old, massive Tudor house, set in many acres of beautiful land with rivers, trees and meadows. I’ve been going there since I was a teenager.
When Luna and I arrived, I realized I was desperate to take a tinkle! I was very frustrated about this because I wanted to walk Luna, I’d got a specific amount of time to do this walk and wanted to go where we normally do, down to a river so she could play in the water and so I could let her off the lead as she’s much better walking off the lead than on it.
I decided to go in a totally different direction and to walk towards the big main house, where I was hoping visitor toilets would be open.
As I walked, I was getting more and more stressed and cross at myself because I needed to take a tinkle so badly I was worried I might wet myself!! (Lol – sorry for all the information, but it matters! I was desperate, grumpy, cross at myself, cross at Luna as she kept pulling on the lead so I had to keep stopping to help her slow down, so she didn’t hurt herself trying to run while on the lead!) – eventually, after walking for about a mile, I made it to the toilets, rushed in and all was well in the world.
I’d noticed on my mad dash that I was passing some big tents and lorries, which was unusual, but I thought they must have been doing a concert. I also noticed a security man and had vowed in my head that I would ‘take him down’ if he even tried to stop me on my mission to get to the toilet! Lol
So, as I gently strolled back into the land of peace and the normal version of me, I started to notice people in the courtyard were wearing microphones, battery packs and all looking a bit official.
A person then walked by me wearing a t-shirt saying ‘Outlander, Season 8’!!!!!!!!!! Some other people walked pasted me wearing period dress costumes!!!
Ohhhhhhhhhhhh!!! I’d only stumbled on the filming of Outlander, Season 8 and realized that on the other side of the wall to where I was taking a tinkle – Sam Heughan was filming the next, and I believe final season, of Outlander!! This was so utterly exciting to me!!
So I slowly walked about a bit, hoping to run into someone famous (I didn’t, but I was extra nice to the other crew, hoping they’d have the best time ever – making this show that brings so much to so many people around the world!!!). This show is special to me because while watching it the characters of the show moved to The Highlands, Grand Father Mountain, North Carolina at the same time as my Dad and Step Mum moved from the beach in North Carolina, up to Grandfather Mountain in the Blue Ridge Mountains, and now – they were filming around the corner from where I lived, so the locations spoke to my heart in a big way – not only that, but I have Scottish heritage and went to the special stones in Scotland that the characters go through when jumping through time, the other year.
The morale of this very exciting story is that in the most desperate of moments we can have the most wonderful experiences!!! Ha haa!! So always keep an open mind and an open heart because you never know where your bladder, I mean your heart will lead you! 😊
